The idea of ACT OUT LOUD arose from a need to exchange and learn more about current projects of our partners, friends and colleagues. Centre for Independent Social Research (CISR) e.V. and Dekabristen e.V. initiated the event to reflect on experiences we have had within our initiatives and programmes so far and share our knowledge. We are all creating a lot but far less telling each other about our achievements and challenges. It is a chance to finally share all the great things we do and celebrate the results at the end of 2021.
The event is focused on the topics our NGOs have been implementing for the last several years: urban development in Eastern European cities, urban activism and citizen participation, inclusion & accessibility, possibilities of peer-to-peer/horizontal approaches as well as the exchange on current trends and cooperation capacities.
The ACT OUT LOUD will start with an evening event on December 10 on the occasion of the book publication "Eastern Block Stories" about the mass housing estates in the former communist countries. It will be presented by the publisher Tinatin Gurgenidze/Dekabristen e.V. with a contribution by Dr. Philipp Meuser/Dom Publishers, followed by a discussion.
On December 11 we will have a whole day to get to know each other via Speed Dating formats and participate in thematic exchange groups, workshops and discussions.
Participation conditions: 2G+ — An access is only permitted to those who have been vaccinated or have recovered in the last 6 months. All participants must also be tested with a rapid antigen test and provide a negative result at the entrance.
